Click green flag. Lots of tiny pen dots to make flag with sine wave to flap. Wave increases with distance from pole, especially when flag falls.
Waves much less near the pole (amplitude and frequency decreases as x decreases). Flags fall and rise in wind, so I added that effect, with lots of extra modeling. Stripes are easy to code as rows of pen dots. For stars, I stamped star costumes. Each individual star doesn't distort but pattern of stars bends with sine functions.
