Tysm!! Summer’s Symphony is all about music- specifically focusing on five musical artists who’ve had a big impact on me that I enjoy listening to. The designs are based on their music, not necessarily on how they look. If this gets popular, I’ll add one or two more designs to the gang. Kendrick Lamar (OPEN) RULES: - THE DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 21ST - You can enter for multiple characters, but you’ll only have a chance to get one. - Don’t put down any other artists who are entering! Treat everyone w/ kindness! - Do not use the designs till you get them! - Genderbending and speciesbending (they’re all cats btw) is perfectly okay! Just don’t stray too far away from the original design! - Please do not also trace the designs! - Entries will only count if they’re a remix. You can always include offsite links to any big animations or whatnot that you couldn’t import into scratch, I wont mind. -okok please think of manking a bio idk it js helps a lot - Give credit when remixing btw! - You can do anything to enter for em, go crazy! (Highly recommended) - Make a mini-comic! - Use a song from the musical artist (huge boost if it’s an animation of some sort) - Give them some buddies! - Give it your best shot! Tyler, The Creator (Song used - “SWEET/I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE”) Chillest musician ever, people call him a “TikTok Artist” since his songs from Flower Boy blew up even though bro built a fan base from YouTube (tamale reference) like did y’all forget he wasn’t a serious artist orrr… Based this guys design off of CMIYGL, I was gonna do Igor but PinkPanthress already had a pink-ish design. 3. Mitski (Song used - “Strawberry Blonde”) And I would like to rant about the song choice in this section. Strawberry Blonde has been a personal favorite of mine since it’s a more cheery song from her AND ITS ABOUT THE STRUGGLES OF BEING AN ASIAN AMERICAN WOMAN. WHICH YALL COMPLETELY DISREGARDED BACK IN 2020 OR WHATEVER AND MADE IT A SONG ABOUT A /ROMANCE/?? and don’t get me started on that strawberry cow song I hate everyone who used it </3 /neg so if you see someone using strawberry blonde wrong go chew em out tbh Y’all really hate the WOC struggle too erm… anyways I don’t listen to Mitski that much anymore but she was a huge inspiration for me way back when. 4. Lizzo (Song used - “Truth Hurts”) LIZZO IS SUCH A QUEEN. SHES TOO ICONIC and all of her songs are bangers change my mind idk what else to say 5. Kendrick Lamar (Song used - “PRIDE.”) Best rapper OAT change my mind rn he’s so good at storytelling in his music AND DUCKWORTH IS SO ICONIC I also love his features in other artists songs like All the Stars, It’s On Again (BEST VERSE BTW), Pray for Me, uhhh I can’t think of any others on the top of my head mb yall All art by me, done on procreate.
