Ep. 2 We begin the episode in Studio City, which is in a large state of organized chaos. Troops are running, fortifications are being made, etc, because the Explore Scratch National Guard is on their way and they outnumber the Crimson League 13 to 1. We cut to the meeting room, where the King/mayor is surrounded by his 5 city officials. One official is incredibly nervous, and the King tells him to essentially shut up and that they'll make it out of this fine. The official asks him how he's so sure that they won't lose this fight, and he says "this." Then a new character, the Crimson Knight, walks out to the Kings side. The King introduces him as the Crimson League's loyal warrior, ready to fight to the death to protect the Crimson League. Suddenly, an announcement blares over the buildings loudspeakers that says that the city has been breached. Two Crimson League makeshift soldiers rush in, and inform the king that they need to get to a secure location. The King informs the Crimson Knight to defend the capitol building, the one they are in, at all costs. The King is then escorted away to the right of the screen. We open on the chaos of war - Fire blazing in streets as Scratch Guardsmen and Crimson League Soldiers intensely fight in the streets of studio city. The Crimson League soldiers are clearly losing as they are an untrained militia and the Scratch Guardsmen are trained and well-equipped. The Scratch Guardsmen are nearing the foot of the Studio City/Crimson League Capitol’s steps (there is also a flagpole next to the capitol flying a Crimson League flag) as the Crimson Knight steps out on the capitol steps, standing high above the Explore Scratch Guardsmen. The Crimson Knight manages to help the Crimson League soldiers defend the capitol for a bit, but the capitol is eventually taken. The Crimson Knight flees the capitol, believing the Crimson League to have lost, and becomes a fugitive. End of Ep. 2
