so i got the og colors back and it's thanks to this nifty little thing called Scratch Add-Ons! The amazing part is that it's absolutely free to download on Chrome (I use Brave, haha), AND it has a bunch of other things you can do, NOT just change the website's nav colors! It also adds extra spaces to parts of your bio, lets you have a hex color picker, an opacity slider for your sprites (only in vector *sobs*), a "set thumbnail" button, a remix button to your OWN projects, and a TON of other things! Unfortunately, I can't put the website link here because of awful filtering, but if you just Google "Scratch Addons," I'm sure you'll find it. Hope it helps make your Scratch experience better! :D
