I don’t think I’ve done one of these before, and overall pretty happy with how it turned out! some of my markers were low on ink tho so it turned out a little blotchy (eg on his cape) - for the most part I was able to use it to my advantage to add texture and such ^^ 21 | Roland, Lockwood, and a random man playing the violin :] lyrics are from “Heirloom” and “Homesick” by SAL as well as “Collapse” by Raynes (again) 22 | a couple comic sketches and a Roland drawing :) the quote is from “The Projectionist” by Sleeping at Last 23 | a painting I did o a whim! it was pretty fun, I liked getting the thick globs of paint down :) as well as another drawing of Scott! this one with a quote from “Any Way the Wind Blows” from Hadestown 24 | Gwen Stacy painting<3 quite pleased with the colors in this one, I took inspiration from her universe in the new movie :D 25 | some drawings I did with watercolor pencils and then taped into my sketchbook :) quotes from “Changes” and “Little One” by the Happy Fits and “This Side of Paradise” by Coyote Theory 26 | more of previous doodles (including one of Mo) as well as a sketch of Calypso, the main character in our novel~ quotes from (buckle up) “Treasure in a Field” by Thomas Austin, “Wrapped in Piano Strings” by Radical Face, “I loved you then (and I love you still)” by Woodlock, and lastly, “The Weight of Us” by Sanders Bolkhe 27 | design for the Guild of Defense uniform! 28 | another painting done in my sketchbook~ this one of Arthur, a character in our comic :) I had a lot of fun with this! was not initially planning for it to be so detailed, was just gonna go in with some poscas, but I got carried away and started squirting the pain directly from the tubes onto the page XD (continued, ran out of space \/ \/ \/)
29 | obi-wan, my beloved<3 this is a quote of his from TCW season … two, I believe? “Voyage of Temptation” is the episode title, I think, and it’s amazing go watch it.
