PLAY WITH THIS LINK: https://turbowarp.org/projects/870202824/ This project is about creatures (that happen to look like worms) evolving and adapting by slight mutations in their DNA that can cause them to lose, modify, or gain new body parts!! Hold shift and click the green flag at the top left to enable turbo mode (it will make the simulation run faster). Body Parts: Base (White) - Does nothing, just visual. Leg (Blue) - Accelerates the creature to where the leg is pointed. Bigger creatures are heavier. Plant Mouth (Green) - Digests plants. Meat Mouth (Red) - Digests meat. Spray (Purple) - Sprays toxic chemicals that hurt other creatures. Plant Eye (Light Green) - Makes the creature turn towards plants it sees. Meat Eye (Light Red) - Makes the creature turn towards meat it sees. Alert Eye (Light Purple) - Makes the creature turn away from toxic chemicals. Joint (White Circle) - Changes Food: Plant - Gives 25 energy. Spawns randomly. Meat - Gives 50 energy. When a creature dies, it drops 2 meat for every (non-base) body part it has. Reproduction: Creatures will slowly mature over time, developing all their body parts as they do. When a creature is fully matured and has 100 or more energy, it will split into two new creatures. Each child has a chance to mutate. Mutation: In a mutation, the creature gets a new body part. There's also a chance for the body part to be rotated and a smaller chance for an old body part to be removed. UPDATE 1 (June 29, 2023) -Reduced energy from meat (75 -> 50) -Reduced meat amount (Base parts no longer drop meat) -Visualized joints (now shown as white circles) -"Fixed" overlapping joints (Mutations can no longer make backwards joints, other causes may still cause overlapping joints) -Fixed eye bugs (Direction values flipping) -Changed mutation (New parts can now form anywhere) -Eyes now turn white when they see something -Added nicer thumbnail No more updates, I will make another project based on this.
