Got myself an emulator last weekend, and now I can play the older gen Pokémon main series games (and spin-offs.) Why I find this interesting is that I've always had a crazy interest in bugs and glitches... If you want me to take more screenshots of me doing crazy stuff, let me know, and I'll take requests! Update 1 Fun Fax (Prepare yourself! A lot of reading in these fax from here on in the notes.): - The glitches shown were done on Pokémon Yellow and Blue, as of the time this was shared. - (This one and the next one are the longest ones ever.) To help me do the Mew Glitch, I had to spawn in a Vaporeon (to get past Pewter Gym,) an Abra (because you can't find Abra by the Nugget Bridge on Yellow,) and I accidentally turned my rival into a Raichu (when I was trying to get a Pokémon that knows Growl because I accidentally made my Pikachu forget the move. I wasn't as experienced with the VBA (my emulator) at the time. I got my Bulbasaur instead, and when I started tackling the bridge, I had forgotten to turn off my Wild Raichu code, thus, I fought a wild Raichu instead of my rival.) I also had to spawn in a load of Pokédollars to get loads of rare candies after spawning in 99 free Master Balls from the pokémart. The Mew is still level 1 in my file at the minute because icantgettheamountofxptomakeitjumptolevel100andineedtogettoroute1soicanandhaveapokemonbetterthanthepikachuinthepictureandthisisprobablythelongestfunfaxeversoyeah - It took AGES to get one of the NPCs in the right spot so I could get stuck in Oak's window. I had to reload my save state then, because... I couldn't move because I was in the middle of a cutscene then. And I'm sure KikafiMN (named that way for the Old Man glitch I may perform later on (MN is one character in Blue)) must've gotten hurt then too. I'm expecting a Fun Fax simulator based off this project, because of how long I've made the project notes from 2 extremely long fun fax because I had a LOT to say there. If I was able to write this much in two fax, then I should probably stop until I do another glitch. Welp. o3o Credit to Nintendo and Game Freak for Pokémon. Update 2 Fun Fax: - In which Oak walks left and breaks the game. - I will explain myself during the Update 2 screenshots, so be prepared to look at a lot of captions! - No cheats in this one, apart from speeding it up for the '2000 YEARS LATER' bit. - Idk what else to say... Nothing to say for Update 3... Update 4: I actually perform the entry to the Pokécenter. There, I check my party to discover a glitch Pokémon called Q. Then I heal my Pokémon... then... something odd happens. - I do speed it up a little for the long time thing, and I make a savestate so I don't have to... y'know... have the same struggles as in Update 3... but... yeah! - Most of the explaining is done in the project.
