Colored on FireAlpaca (I GOT IT! WOOT WOOT!) Anyways, backstory is based on footbinding (or "lotus feet") in China. It was a terrible practice where girls broke the bridges of their feet to put them in tiny shoes and you had to do it if you wanted a husband (Unless you were a farmer of fisher, you needed your feet to work). They usually did it to girls ages 4-6. Backstory: The ancient Tribe of Swift Rivers had paired up Wave That Crashes (Wave) and Bear That Hunts Berries (Bear) since they were kits. A new popular thing amongst she-cats rose up and everyone is now binding there legs, but it causes a lot of pain. Wave refuses to get her legs bound like the many other she-cats. Bear takes her to the proposal cave, where all the toms propose, or plan when they will be united, to she-cats, and Wave is so excited. Then he tells her that he doesn't approve of her legs not being bound and that in order for him to marry her, she must bind her legs. So, eventually the pressure of her clanmates and future mate get to her and she does it, causing her extreme pain. She eventually died because she could not handle the pain and she was buried next to Bear's den. You can sometimes hear whispering near her last resting place saying, "I'm only doing this for you, Bear. Only for you..." (Well that was depressing ;-;)
