Instructions

Fastest sand physics on scratch..? One instruction: enjoy (NOTICE the buttons. Block, Sand, and Erase. As well as the 3 resolution buttons at the top middle.) Use turbowarp for extra fun: https://turbowarp.org/869298018?fps=120 I built this project to be as fast as I can while keeping functionality. The bar on top is the stress bar. if it gets full, you're probably going to lag. Sand Color 1 is changing RGB Sand Color 2 is based on the stress bar NOTE: The device speed rating will only calculate either once you start lagging, or once you're stress bar reaches max. The more times it calculates, the more accurate it gets. Also, the stress bar will adjust to your devices speed. I couldn't make it rate your device's speed unless it's below 30 fps, unless I made it required to use turbomode, that would be interesting.

Description

My other sand projects leading up to this one: Hardcoded (really fast. no erasing or variable scale): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/869096483/ Slightly slower and gravity, but no erasing: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/695936563/ Sandbox! Many materials to play with: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/572665139/ My first sand game (only 190 blocks): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/559178534/ I used a couple tricks to make this fast. Such as -only processing the active sand -rendering partial frames -trying my best at re-activating the right sand it's like thisissand.com I did not look up anything about sand physics so this is just an entirely winged project haha, turned out alright :) #sand #sandbox #physics #fast #games (just a tad (lot) faster than griffpatches sand)
