OUGH is a pesky quadruple-graph in english. those 4 letters alone can make up to 11 different sounds at most. however, we are slowly eradicating its huge amount of sounds. it first started with "hiccOUGH", which has now turned into "hiccup", and recently words like "thOUGH" and "thrOUGH" have turned into "tho" and "thru" respectively. due to this, me and my friends have decided to start a movement to further shorten OUGH's amount of sounds, prefferably only one, and to make this language easier to learn. so, what do you say? have you had enough of OUGH?
NOTE: me and my friends AREN'T TRYING TO REMOVE OUGH FROM ENGLISH. we just want to start a movement to make english easier by further shortening the amount of sounds OUGH can make, and possibly gather attention to improve this language.
