so, that line is the velocity of the player, after editing the level is the level. i rotated both the level and the line by the same amount until line was pointing down, representing falling velocity. in normal play, those angles could lead to a corner boost, but since this isn't necessarily normal, who knows, but this is just some stuff i made to help visualize something.
