Running into the empty room, Jade looked around frantically. Gasping in relief, she ran over to the gray tom. "Rocky! Are you OK?! I've been looking everywhere! Did they hurt you?" Jade exclaimed, hugging Rocky as tight as she could. Releasing him slowly, she put her hand/paw on his face. "Rocky? Rocky, answer me!" she gently shook him. "ROCKY!! PLEASE ANSWER ME!!" She yelled, trying to get something out of him. She tried to hold back tears, as she murmured, "No...no...this can't be happening!" She couldn't hold back anymore. Tears began to flood down her cheeks, stinging like acid would. She looked up, sobbing, and blank eyes stared back at her, with no empathy for those tears that she was shedding. Then again, there was not even the slightest bit of emotion left in the tom.
