I PRESENT TO YOU, MY GRAND PASSION PROJECT: 22 ART TIPS, 3 ART PROCESSES, and A SPECIAL SECTION WITH CO-HOST @TheUnknownz !!! (and mini shout-out to @_Kat-tak_) ----- OKAY SO this is a legitimate passion project, i recall seeing people absolutely beg me for art tip/art process project and while I remember always going "naw ill never make one", i decided to make one AND I HAD FUN? okay but dont get me wrong ive always had a love for helping other people, answering people's art questions and critiquing art has always been something I've enjoyed for some reason LIKE I GUESS i jsut love sharing my thoughts for the benefits of others >:D BEFORE YOU START, do know that these are all based on mine and @TheUnknownz's experiences, so don't find yourself strapped to these tips, and also don't find yourself going grrr I HATE THESE TIPS WHY DO THESE PPL THINK THEY'RE CORRECT when really i everyone has a different opinion. NEVERTHELESS, with digi art tips, mental health tips, trad art tips, three art processes, and a bonus session with my absolute child and bestie @TheUnknownz, I BET THIS PROJECT WILL SATISFY A LOT OF PEOPLE if you guys like this project ABSOLUTELY DINE ON HEARTING AND STARRING yes ik haha greedy artist begging for likes?? like naw okay i understand but for something me and my friends spent a month over, support would be "ah-mazing" (kim's convenience reference, guys, did anyone get it SOBSS) ----- im gonna add a QnA section down here if you guys want any clarifications or smthn bcus i am WILLING TO HELP yes bb 1. How do you shade clothing folds? I ABSOLUELY AM IN NO PLACE TO EVEN TRY TO EXPLAIN but okay, in simple terms: Whenever there are places where the clothes bunch up, I like shading in "outward" triangles. if you understood that, good job, if not, well lets see idk man I TRY and maybe will make a tut someday. :D 2. How to come up with ideas for clothing, poses, and expressions? Lol pls don't say Pinterest Indeed, i use pinterest. Now while i'll enlighten on that later, honestly, I'de say this mostly comes with experience. When taking art seriously, I make myself practice it to the point where I do it unconsciously to remeber stuff I'm inscpired by incase I want to replicate it in my art. Pinterest is a great way to look for ideas and poses, ABSOLUTELY, i do take inspo from art pieces mostly and not irl photos bcus idk why not. B] 3. How do you know where to place accesories? Now honestly, I don't know, BY NOW it's become stupidly instinct for me to know where to put the accesories. Acessories in general though for me are used to help the composition not feel empty, so if you evr think the piece feels empty, try accesories. 4. Where do you know how to place lighting? OKAY SO HONESTLY i think the logic for how something is lighted is pretty easy to think about, what I learned tho is that your perception on how to light/shade can become clouded when what you draw isn't exactly properly drawn. LIKE ANATOMY FOR EXAMPLE, if you didn't draw a certain body part properly, you'll certainly become slightly unconfident on where to place the lighting due to the forms and proportions being unrealistic. I'M NOT SAYING EVERYONE HAS TO BECOME A REALISM ARTIST, just learn and study the forms of what you are going to shade. ----
