Story of Snow theory: Who can Shadow be? Yes, we all probably know. But I'm just going to confirm it. It's Darklight. In the prologue, when Snowkit was born, a cat said "Just like me," referring to Snowpelt's twisted paw. Darklight is also Snowkit's mother. But she was dead down in the ThunderClan nursery. But she was in spirit up in the Dark Forest. The Dark Forest. Is that where Whiteblaze got her vicious treatment to Snowpelt? Another topic for later. But, I was skimming through the Story of Snow refs, and guess what I found? Shadow also has a twisted paw. It could be someone else though, right? But no. I understand a TINY bit about genetics. Snowpelt had her twisted paw at birth. If Darklight had a twisted paw, there's a 25-50% chance one of her kits will also have a twisted paw. That kit is Snowkit. Plus, Snowpelt has blue eyes. Ashstar has amber eyes, so she couldn't have got her eye color from him. But SHADOW has blue eyes. This goes very well into piece genetically. Because that means Darklight has blue eyes. Darklight (Shadow) and Snowpelt look very similar. Shadow can communicate with Snowpelt. Darklight is Snowpelt's mother. Darklight is Shadow.
