It is a triannual camp running in the months January, May, and September. This session will be running from September 1st to September 30th. There are four cabins and you will be sorted into one of them. Throughout the month you will get the chance to improve your skills, make new friends, and maintain friendly competition between the other cabins. Camp Aesthetic is entirely on Scratch and we do not require you to check although we do encourage you to update your minute goal and finish activities whenever possible. Friendly competition will be maintained by a point system where you can complete activities for your cabin to earn points. ꒱ What are the responsibilities of a (co) leader? ↴ ↷ All (co) leaders must maintain the following responsibilities: - Maintaining a healthy relationship between life and CA - Answering questions and concerns regarding CA if they are confident in their answer. - Taking any questions and concerns (that they are not confident in their answer with) to me. - Updating minute goals as often as possible and ensuring that all scratch records are up to date. - Overseeing the cabin and acting as a supervisor - Contributing to cabin planning and development ꒱ When is my application due? ↴ ↷ 6:59 CST on the 19th of July ꒱ How do co leaders work? ↴ ↷ Each cabin (see below for a list!) needs one or two co-leaders. More information will be shared with selected leaders. If you're only interested in applying for co, please mention that in your app. Applications not chosen to be leaders will automatically be open to getting chosen as co! You are not allowed to advertise your application to the chosen leaders, and we will be monitoring this. If you aren't selected as a co-leader, we would advise that you keep your app up even after the deadline has passed - sometimes situations will call for leaders to need to choose another co, so you could be that person! ꒱ What are the differences between leader and co-leader? ↴ ↷ Leaders have more responsibility than the co-leaders. They are 'in charge' of the cabin, which could potentially mean making more decisions, especially regarding theming and early development of the cabin. The leader assumes the role of the delegator in that they have the ability to delegate any tasks regarding the cabin to both their co-leaders and themselves. They ensure equity in terms of tasks within their own cabin. Leadership teams are responsible for figuring out their own system of keeping track of their cabin word counts. ꒱ What are the cabin choices? ↴ ↷ The cabin choices are: Dark/light academia (leader chooses) - softcore - vintage - cottagecore ꒱ When will camper signups be out? ↴ ↷ 9pm CST on July 31st on my profile <3 ꒱ Why do I need to include my timezone? ↴ ↷ This is just to get a sense of when you will be online, if you are uncomfortable sharing you don't need to share your timezone! ꒱ How do you communicate with (co) leaders? ↴ ↷ We will have a discussion forum in the discuss area. ꒱ How will I know if my application has been seen? ↴ ↷ I will be loving the applications whenever I view them <3 but don't worry about linking it, I will get a notification if you remix it. ꒱ Can I choose co's before I get accepted? ↴ ↷ It’s not okay to choose cos before you’re accepted as a leader - you may look at apps in advance but you can’t ask them to co with you or make a pact with friends to lead together.
