The sad truth of FNAF: There where five children, purple guy was dressed up as Freddy Fazbear and lured them in with cake and he closed the door and took the suit off and proceeded to kill them and the Marionette tried to give them gifts to make them happy and since that did not work, he stuffed them into the animatronic suits. Purple guy was on night shift and then he destroyed the animatronics (Cuz that's what caused his child to die)and when he killed them their souls came after him so in a blind panic he put on the old Spring-Bonnie suit and the spring-locks failed causing all the pole and animatronic parts to drive themselves into his body, killing him. Kinda ;) Now the story behind the Puppet: One day a lonely child was peeking into the back door of a Freddy Fazbear establishment. He was watching Freddy as he delivered cake to the children. While he was watching Freddy PINK Man drove up next to him and killed him. (You know if you listen carefully to the kitchen camera you can hear Freddy playing his music box to the Puppet.) Then in the second game if you look carefully you can see a mini Freddy. Now story around the "Toys": They were made with scrap metal from the original suits so they were also possessed by the same spirits. credit to @Toytoy87
