Hello, everyone who is viewing this project. (almost 400 DMC contest) I want to invite you to join my first ever contest, which is a DMC of course! My rules are already in the project, but here is another place to look, if you don’t want to look through the project. Rules: Please no ai Art No guilt-tripping No being mean No stealing Have fun Don’t put others down References are fine I suppose, but I would like you to at least tell me if you are using them. If I am missing any, please let me know! When I was scrolling through other DMC contests, I saw that they had a max entry limit, so I decided to make one as well. For this contest I decided to make a limit of about 4 entries. But do remember, the common phrase contest hosts use, “Quality over quantity”! Now for the characters. As you know, one of them is a very old ref that I made when I first got here, but the other two renewed ones are much better quality! #1 Ash/Cal Height: 5 foot 11 Age: 17 Hobbies: Soccer, Basketball, Wrestling, swimming, art(obviously), Volunteer work Connection with other characters: Ash/Cal is a shapeshifter that can turn into a butterfly then back without problem, but when used too much, it can open slightly unstable dimension hole loops. Ash accidently made the mistake of shapeshifting too many times, which caused him to go into Ari and Elaine’s world. They didn’t mind him much, but soon became attached to him. Especially Elaine. Ash as well became attached to them(more Elaine), as he saw Ari as a sister he never had. He was what you would call an innocent bodyguard because even though he looked innocent, he would kill/hurt them. Sometimes though his anger or protectiveness would get out of control #2 Ari Height: 5 foot Age: 12 Hobbies, sleeping, eating, crying, whining, sleeping(again), annoying (you get it) Connection with other characters: She is the heir princess of Elixir. Not only is she the heir princess, but she is also the cousin of Elaine. To her, Elaine is her savior, as she was there whenever Ari needed someone. Soon though Elaine had to go travel, to find her father. Before she left though, she enchanted a cat that would protect Ari, when she couldn’t. Elaine knew that questions would be asked if a real cat was hanging around with the princess, so she made it able to shift from a cat plushie in public and a real cat around danger. #3 Elaine Height: 5 foot 6 Age: 16 Hobbies: Traveling, Fighting, reading, meditating, being helpful, giving food to hungry people Connection with other characters: She is not only the daughter of knight Exarib but she is also the daughter of evil sorceress Media. Media was the enemy of Elixir, because years ago, she caused the death of the king(Ari’s dad). Elaine knew about this yet never told Ari, as she knew it would break her. Media is currently missing, but not before she took Exarib(Elaine’s dad) with her. Elaine ever since, has been trying to find them both, in order to bring justice for Ari’s dad, and for herself. Elaine is an enchantress that is able to create things, but at the same time break them. She currently only knows about the creating part, but when her full power is released, she will have no control over it. Her father knew about this so he gave her earrings that look normal, but in reality it is a capsule that is holding her power, but it is about to break, and without him replacing them, she is simply a misfortune. That is when Ash/Cal comes in. Will he be able to stop the ticking misfortune that may burst any time soon? the code for passing through slides is from @potatoebear Have Fun! Enjoy
(FAQ below) I forgot to put in the project that I am going to go on vacation for the next two months so I won’t be fully online. The plan to leave is on June 25th so until then you can try to ask questions. I won’t promise that I will get to every one of them. And, please don’t steal, trace or recolor my art. I made the mistake of not marking these OC’s but I will next time. This was all made on Kleki FAQ: How are you going to ‘grade’ them or rank them? I will try to be as fair as possible, but the main things that I want to look for is, ideas, themes, story, and color. Adding a story will boost your ranking, as well as your color choice and lighting. When is the due date? I am thinking of making it about September 20th, but it might change depending on how much entries I receive How many entries can we make? Max. is 4, but remember quality over quantity Can we do one with all of the characters? Go for it! I am going to be surprised to see what you may come up with Can we change the clothes and or accessories? I prefer you don’t but you can, as long as the main color theme, and theme itself is till there. Do we have to incorporate Elaine’s earings, and Ari’s cat/plushie? For Elaine, yes you must because that secures the character, but for Ari, you don’t have to.
