Use it like a real lift. Warning : Loud sounds ! Next part of the desc : What a disgusting cheap nasty piece of [censored] the new lift will be ! Anyway, let’s now move on the modernization of this lift which is way better than the future Harrington lift but it’s still a very nasty mod. They’ve ripped out the Sprinte EV controller and put a Lester Controls in the logic cabinet but they kept the original star-delta starter, they replaced the indicator with a very bodgy-looking and ugly digital red 7-segment display, they bodged the lanterns on the door jamb instead of putting a directional indicator, they replaced the voice speaker and the voice module with Lester ones, they added a Lester outside directional chime speaker and the module for those chimes inside the lift car, they also have done a bodgy job with the EV positioning system (shaft bars) which maked the lift runs the same as originally but it no longer pre-doors and the new Lester Controls has a lot of long delays which were intentionally programmed by the engineers who modded this lift (It’s maybe a trick to ensure that the employees get shouted at for being late as they massively reduced the efficiency), they glued over a plate with their name on it over the Sprinte EV plate and worst of all, they have installed an horrible ULCEP ventilation system which has 2 fans : 1 fan which suck out the air and the another fan blows the air in the cab. The fan which suck out the air squeaks and screeches. The system is called the ULCEP dual fan. Also, both fans buzzes, both are very loud and the fan which suck the air is a lot louder than the another one. These fans are horrid because they’re unecessary, they make horrid noises and they ruins the sounds of the hydraulic motor ! This explains the nastiness of this lift modernization ! The hydraulic Sprinte EV lifts installed by Stannah at the modern blocks of flats in Nugget Street, Nottingham, UK have also been murdered in the exact same way as this one ! Jackson is one of the worst lift company ever ! The voice is also very loud, the Ding-Dong chimes are rubbish and loud, the lift still has a very violent startup, it nows has the please mind the doors voice and delay and has a lot of bad features. Also, the logic repeats the direction message if you spam the door open button ! At least, this mod is clearly not as bad has the future replacement lift which will be an horrid newer Harrington MRL installed and rebranded by of course, Jackson Lift Group ! And at least, these modded EV lifts still have their original Fermator doors as Jackson’s has kept those doors instead of replacing them with Wittur ones which are worse than Fermator, apart from Wittur AMD doors. Both Fermator and Wittur have a very sharp edge on the shaft doors that can injury lift surfers and lift engineers and these doors get jammed up regularly. But Fermator and Wittur also hve different problems. Wittur doors are cheap nasty rubbish with an horrid-sounding and unreliable door mechanism (Especially HydraArm and HydraPlus ones). Fermator doors doesn’t have these problems but they’re still pretty bad because they’re very flimsy as they’re very cheaply made and they doesn’t work very well, although, these doors looks better than Wittur (except Wittur AMD). Plus, the top of the range Fermator are way better than normal Fermator doors and those top of the range Fermator doors are certainly a lot better than any Wittur HydraPlus, FineLine, Ecodrive and HydraArm door operator. But their top of the range doors won’t beat doors like Meiller Türen, Otis, AMD and the Sematic doors used on Schindler 5500’s. But the top of the range Fermator are probably better than GAL doors or these doors are probably as good as GAL but I don’t know. Anyway, here is what used to be quite a nicd but rather cheap Sprinte Electra Vitoria roped hydraulic lift with motor room (MR) that was installed by Stannah in September 2008. But now, it is a nasty Jackson’s which is a piece of junk. But for some wierd reason they kept the original fixtures, except the floor indicator and they also kept the EV buzzer which makes a rather bad beep noise in my opinion. But if it was a Kotori mod, the mod would have been even worse because Kotori will surely replace the fixtures with Lester or Dewhurst and replace the doors with Wittur. They will also certainly replace the GMV hydraulic pump with a rubbish generic pump. At least, Jackson’s has kept the doors, fixtures (Except the dot-matrix display of the floor indicator) and hydraulic motor.

Title : Very nasty modernization ! 2008 Stannah (Sprinte EV) lift (Murdernized by Jackson)… The lift is located at Russo Elevators Inc. headquarters in Nottingham, UK. This is a semi-generic Sprinte EV lift, installed by Stannah Lifts in September 2008 and it’s a hydraulic. This lift is very cheap, flimsy and uses Electra Vitoria/Sprinte EV controllers which are similar to IMEM Ascensores but EV logics seems to be better than IMEM actually. It’s also got Fermator doors which have bad reputation because they’re poorly made, so Fermator doors are flimsy. But at least, Fermator door motors doesn’t squeal in horrid ways unlike Wittur doors which have also unreliable door mechanisms (Except top of the range Wittur Kone/AMD doors). Fermator’s door mechanisms might also be unreliable, but I think they’re better than Wittur. Average Wittur doors also tend to be slower than most Fermator ones. With this particular EV lift, the Fermator doors are working fairly well. But this lift also has really low quality DMG BL buttons which also looks quite ugly because of the pillowed square frame around those buttons. Although, they are clearly not as bog-standard as Dewhurst and Lester. And also, Lester buttons looks way worse than Schaefer, Dewhurst and DMG ones ! But despite being a generic hydraulic, the speed is actually 1 m/s, it even has pre-doors and the hydraulic unit is a good quality GMV T2 unit which works fine, although, the lift starts with a big jolt. takes ages to level and has a rather long charge/start time. The GMV pump sounds great too and it is pretty loud ! But REI has has been taken over by Garbage Lift Services and has a new horrid boss who is the successor of Antonio Russo an he changed the maintenance contract of the lifts at Russo Elevators Inc’s headquarters, meaning that those lifts are now maintained by JACKSON’S !!!! BOOOOO !!!! And guess what ? Jackson persuaded that nasty new director to mod this Sprinte EV MR roped hydro lift and replace the Stannah MRL roped hydro by writing the following e-mail which says : « Your lifts are too hard to maintain and it’s because they’re too old. The lift with the pump in the pit needs a full replacement and the other lift needs a mod. ». WHAT ??! Are those engineers BONKERS ?! The lifts were installed in September 2008 ! They are just 14 years old ! And also, they’re working fine (Apart from the big jolt when this one starts going up) ! But sadly, the another lift (The Stannah MRL hydro) has been replaced with something that beats any IMEM Ascensores lift at being nasty and horrid ! It will be an utterly cancerous newer Harrington Elevators MRL traction lift with horrible parts, including kirk time quality parts, such as the logic manufactured by Lester Controls and IMEM Ascensores in a factory in UKCR and they make « Lester Ascensores » or « IMEM Controls » logic controllers which are appallingly bad. Those logics are ultra cheap, mega nasty and they contains very bad chemical substances such as Kirkium Dioxide which has the same toxic effects as mercury, it’s really harmful and worst of all, if it’s exposed to a temperature of over 50°C, it starts to oxydize and emits a toxic brown smoke and if this happens, you have around 1-3 minutes left to cool down the substance by spraying cold CO2 (With a fire extinguisher) because when the substance oxydize, it heats up very quickly and absorb the dioxygen and the nitrogen and if it reach at least 250°C it catches fire and then, it explodes a few seconds later (When it reach at least 500°C). Also, if the temperature suddenly reach 250 or 500°C, it will catch fire, then blow up. But at least the logic has a fairly reasonable amount of this very very bad substance, unlike the VF drive which contains over twice the amount of the substance that the logic controller contains and if this VFD burns and blows up, the fire can spread very quickly and that can cause a lot of damage, plus, it will be very hard for the firefighters to put the fire out as after the explosion, the fire is very powerful and extremely hot (800 to 4000°C) !!! Those VF are made by Magnetek and Fuji Frenic and they are very cheap and rather unreliable. The worst thing about them is the fact that the fan is very poorly made and breaks down very easily. Also, they must be equipped with an emergency cool-down system which sprays CO2 if the temperature is above 50°C and prevent the components from burning and exploding, but since they cheapened out these VFD, there’s no emergency cool-down system and that is very dangerous and outlawed as the components needs that system as the Kirkium Dioxide is so flammable. The new lift will also have horrid doors which have an horrid and extremely cheap and unreliable Wittur mechanism and a GAL door drive which is also very slow !
