I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, to the True Name, Oh my True Guru. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really like this line in Gurbani because it is saying that; ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਤ ਦੁਆਰੇ - When you see the door of the Guru ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੀ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ਜੀ - You are rid of all sexual desire and anger. Then it says - ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ - ਬਲਿ meaning sacrifice. This line means: I am a sacrifice. Who am I a sacrifice to? ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਾਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਪਰ - to the True Name - meaning Vaheguru. The Wonderous teacher who brings light from darkness.
