these are ancient --- Hi! Welcome to my first OTA/DTA. It's kind of rotating? I'll rotate every time most of the characters (at least half) are taken. Each time, there'll be two different themes. Let me know if you want a ping, but please put your username without an "@" symbol in the comment --- What is a DTA? DTA stands for "Draw to Adopt", which means that you choose a character and draw it in a remix. At the deadline for the DTA, I'll choose a winner with the best art/backstory. --- What is an OTA? OTA stands for "Offer to adopt." Basically, you offer for a character (with things such as fullbodies, scenes, etc), and my favorite offer gets chosen. That person gets the character once they finish their payments (the things in the offer.) --- General rules: - Please credit me (@-CaramelKittens-) if you use the design (after winning it), or just do it on your profile :) - Please don't steal or trace other people's art (It's fine to take reference of images) - Please don't steal the designs unless you win them - You can resell or regift the characters, but please try to tell me on this project or on my profile. - Please be kind about other people's art and your own. - Make sure you don't do a DTAE (DTA entry) for an OTA design, or an offer for a DTA design. If you do, I'll just let you know. - You can enter/offer for several characters, but you only get to win one per batch. - Please have your OTAP (OTA payments) and DTAEs be remixes of this project. (If your DTAE is from a meme template, you can remix the template and just notify me on this project) - Credit everyone you got code/references from clearly! - If you win a character and don't want it anymore, you can let me know. If the OTA/DTA is still going, I'll just reopen it, but if it's not, I'll keep it. - You can change the species --- DTA Rules + Tips: - You can use other programs other than Scratch (it'll increase your chance of winning, probably) - You can simplify the designs as much as you need, but keep it recognizable. - You don't have to ask before making a DTAE - (optional) You should add a bio/backstory to your character's entry! Adding good ones will be taken into consideration during judging. - You can do any amount of entries, but please keep it all in one-two projects, and you can do any type of entry - I'll end the DTA at the end of July/beginning of August unless there are more than 5 entries before that time. - Please make sure your art is appropriate. --- OTA Rules + Tips - Please use the form, and fill it out correctly (underneath credits in the notes and credits section) - Don't under-offer/over-offer unless you're sure you can get everything done - If you get accepted, please have your payments done in 1-3 weeks (if you need an extension, let me know and we'll make it work, a certain word: read the what I don't want section) - If you don't get accepted, please don't be angry. You can offer for another character, or wait until the next batch. - You can change your offer, just reply to it with your new offer --- What I want, most to least: - Customs/premades (usable designs, please keep it somewhat simple) - Scenes (just scenes, please be shaded) - Pfps/icons (profile pictures, I might use some of them with credit >:3 ) - Fullbodies (full bodies of a character, specify if shaded or not) - Busts (character from shoulders and up, specify if shaded or not) - Other art --- What I don't want: - Any type of points (DA, etc) (If you do an offer/dtae, please say your favorite plant and food somewhere, for the next batch! if you don't, it's fine, but please try to, but if you're not comfortable with it for any reason, just hide "yellow" in a sentence.
