Male catbugs are generally smaller and have duller colors. Females are larger, more aggressive, have brighter colors, and have an extra spike on the back of their tail scythe. Catbugs aren't felines, they're a type of beetle evolved to look like a cat. The sizes are accurate in proportion to each other.
