Ace (known as Axel in Asia, Oceania, Caribbean, Middle East and North America) is a brand for a collection of television networks aimed at older kids and teens. It began in 1998 in the UK. When it was launched in the US in 2002, it was named Axel so people wouldn't confuse it with Ace Hardware stores.
