Space / Click to toggle between characters. Status: Open Closes: June 30th, 2023 Results will be posted July 1st, 2023. Please try to read everything before entering! Introduction 2.) Information 3.) Rules 4.) Designs and Flags 5.) Welcome to my pride DTA. This is a draw to adopt in celebration of pride month. Allies and LGBTQ+ members alike are welcome to celebrate! ★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★ INFORMATION: “What is a DTA?” DTA stands for “Draw To Adopt”. This means that you read the rules, draw the character you like, and at the end have a chance of winning the character. This specific one contains characters based off of commonly known pride flags. I tried making it a bit discreet so that people could adopt OCs based on pride flags without being too “out” about it since many people are closeted. This means that they aren’t ready to share their identity with the world yet. However, anyone of any identity can join. Do not trace or steal these designs. If you want to take inspiration that’s fine with me, but please don’t make it too similar. - 2.) Anyone can enter. Straight people, gay people, trans people, cis people. You don’t have to enter for your flag either, and being a certain identity does not give you an advantage of winning the character. This is based off of creativity. However, you must be an ally. - 3.) You can enter for as many as you’d like, but you may only win one. - 4.) Please try to keep all entries within one project. If you make an entry and then add onto it later, notify me so I can see it! - 5.) You don’t have to tell me that you’re entering, but you’re welcome to if it helps you remember. - 6.) No extensions. Due date is final! - 7.) The winner of a specific character may keep any artwork made of that character. If you do not wish for your artwork to be kept by them, please specify this in your description. - 8.) I know this doesn’t cover every identity. I couldn’t come up with much inspiration at the time of making these, sorry. However, if I were to cover every identity possible, there would be way too many for me to keep track of! So I kept it low. - 9.) Don’t beg me for the character or try to force others not to enter. - 10.) The character bio does not have to match the design. (eg. a character based on the lesbian pride flag does not have to be female or a lesbian.) They can be anything you want. - 11.) Redesigning and species changing is okay, but please keep it recognizable. - 12.) Quality over quantity. Making a ton of entries will not give you a better chance at winning. - 13.) Don’t guilt trip me or anyone else. It won’t work. - 14.) If you don’t win, that’s okay! It doesn’t mean your entry wasn’t good; if I could let everyone win I would. I think everyone deserves something nice. But alas, not everyone can have one. - 15.) If you ask a question that is answered in the description or if you blatantly don’t read anything here, I will not respond to you and you will be disqualified. - 16.) Remixes only. I will not accept projects that are not direct remixes of this one. - 17.) Please try to add your entries to their respective studios. (Linked with designs.) - 18.) No bases, gacha, picrew, etc. - 19.) Have fun! Don’t stress out over entries. If you’re stressed over it, you aren’t having fun. Asexual - Asexuality, or ace, is when a person does not feel attraction towards anyone. (I’m keeping the description tame due to Scratch policies.) Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33434961/ 2.) Transgender - A person who is transgender does not identify with the gender they were assigned at birth. (eg. someone born male may identify as female.) Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33434965/ 3.) Lesbian - Being a lesbian means you are a woman who is attracted to other women. Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33434969/ 4.) Pansexual - Pansexual people are attracted to all genders with little to no preference on the gender they’re dating. Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33434973/ It’s important to note that these identities are just as normal as being straight. They cannot be controlled by those with them. Well done shading and lighting will certainly catch my attention! - Creative bio. I won’t be paying much attention to the bio, but if it’s clever, you’ll definitely be considered. - Animation. Animation memes are okay, but a bunch of sprites moving around a screen with no real animation to them doesn’t catch my eye personally. You can make one if you want to though! - Have fun. If you genuinely had fun and put effort into your entry, it shows. Good luck entering!
