The Sparkling Stars, as seen in Kirby's Dreamland and it's many retellings, are a powerful set of stars, acting as the power source for Dream Land. When King Dedede steals them, along with all of the food in Dream Land, the townsfolk are powerless to collect more, and are left to starve. The rest of this story is told in Kirby's Dreamland. In Bandee's Return to Dreamland, the Sparkling Stars have been stolen once more, and It's up to a measly Waddle Dee to retrieve them. However, 2 other forces seek out the power of these stars, and wish to harness them for their own gain. Can Bandee really save Dream Land like Kirby has many times before?
