PSLN 4382 was scrapped after sitting for over a year in Folsom. Over the year many vandals and scrappers had come and stole parts off the locomotive such as the numberboards, bell, horn, and other bits and pieces. It's life finally ended when copper thieves ripped out every last strand of wire it had. The locomotive was written off and scrapped on-site. However the chassis was kept for future use.
