Instructions

Instructions: PLAY HERE - https://turbowarp.org/857189248?clones=Infinity Change the sliders and settings and then press start to begin the simulation. In the simulation, you can click a cell to inspect it. Observe the cells adapt to their environment and see what trends appear. When you end the simulation, it will show a menu of all the unique species that have evolved. You can scroll to see all the species and click on a specific species to inspect it. Settings Explained: All the settings start at their recommended values. Feeding Rate - How frequent food spawns. Feeding Amount - How much food spawns. Base Food - How much food spawns at the start. Egg Batches - How many sets of eggs are spawned at the start. Eggs Per Batch - How many eggs are in each egg batch. Mutation % - How intense mutations can be. World Size - The size of the simulated world. Cells Explained: Random eggs are spawned with randomized stats. They grow up into mature cells after they hatch. From then on, cells will try to find food (the green circles) to eat for energy. After a while, if it has enough energy, a mature cell will lay 2 new eggs that share the same stats. Stats will mutate a little bit, making them slightly more different than the parent. The cycle then repeats. If you want a detailed explanation of the stats, they are listed below. Species - Species are groups of cells with their own stats. Basic species are spawned at the start of the simulation, but new ones can be made if a cell mutates to the point where it is different enough from it’s original species. Species names are randomly generated, and new species carry the name of their previous ancestors. Age - How long the cell has lived. Energy - Cells get energy by eating. Each piece of food gives 10 energy. If a cell runs out of energy, it will die. Energy Load - How much energy the cell has to spend to stay alive. Base Size - How small the cell starts. Bigger sizes help cells reach food farther. Max Size - How much bigger a cell can get from its base size. Growth Rate - How fast a cell develops. Speed - How fast a cell moves Digestion - When a cell finds food, it needs to digest it. The higher digestion a cell has, the longer it takes to process, but at the benefit of being able to get more energy from a single food piece. Birth Rate - How many seconds a cell waits before laying eggs. 05/26/23 -Released 06/26/23 -Added settings -Added sound effects -Recolored stuff -Fixed mutation -Added death animation -Made speed increase with size -Made metabolism & speed much more costly -Made growth become less costly when fully matured -Made egg laying less costly 06/29/23 -Added egg settings -Removed mid-simulation settings (I will be trying to add it back soon) -Reworked metabolism into digestion -Removed energy requirement for birthing -Automated species -Added species menu Planned Features: -Copying and Importing cells -Pausing
