The UP Built the 9000 Class of locomotive from 1926 to 1930 due to them having one of the longest rigid framed wheel bases ever put on a locomotive. they only ever worked in the flats where they worked till the end of steam when they were all scrapped in 1960 except for the first one number 9000.
