Release the clutch and the car will move, you (SHOULD :D) also press the gas to speed up. To change to 2nd gear RELEASE THE CLUTCH AND GAS and move the stick down from 1st to second gear(2x arrow key down). There are a maximum of 5 gears to switch to, look at the "gear" variable to figure out how that works. The car works just like a -normal manual car- with some limitations, it can never be fully realistic.
