In the demon realm there is a very complicated political system. There is a king, but no one ever sees him. There are some who even question his existence. Mostly, people see General Demaris. She practically runs the place. Little is known about Demaris. She’s the top general in the military, and out ranks everyone in the realm, except the king. Other than her advanced skills as a fighter, no one knows her. Who she is, how she operates, nothing. Just an emotionless face on a flashing screen. Then, her second in command, Lord Einar, is completely the opposite. He talks forever. He mostly keeps the population under control. Stopping riots and rebellion if he can. Otherwise, he doesn’t do much. Lady Francis is Einar’s cousin. She is of noble status, but she is completely a voice of the people. She believes that empires such as the demon realm are too big and has no intention of hiding it. She wants the realm to become smaller countries, with their own governments. Mostly, the media isn’t controlled by the government, unless something is really serious. They have right by law to change and remove anything online they want, but usually leave it alone. If there was a rebellion, then that would be a different story.
