the Commonwealth of Tirus is a Semi - Constitutional Monarchy that was historically an absolute monarchy. The Kingdom of Tirus formed almost a thousand years before the commonwealth, it took over it's entire star system and the oldest know flag (Flag: Backdrop 1). The Kingdom took over most of it's galaxy around 800 years after it's formation at the peak of it's golden age but things only got worse as time moved on. The Golden Age ended after the death of Shirato CD of Tirus, leaving no successor and such a civil war erupted lasting almost 200 years and made their great empire crumble before the Commonwealth was established, controlling not even their entire home system. The commonwealth is a stabile nation (Flag: Backdrop 2) but they are isolationist, not having contacted civilisations other than themselves since the civil war.
