Class accounts are a thing now! Check out @learnvisually - he's a student account. Then check out https://scratch.mit.edu/classes/34/ - that's "The History of Space Jam", a class account. They're still in beta and I'm not sure there's been any official explanations of these accounts but I think they're pretty cool and that we have something cool to expect soon in the future, especially with the homepage redesign and "we’re launching the first of many upgrades to the Scratch website".
