I need update this- Edit: Well this project is very successful- [Overview]: (This is completely fictional) In 1984, the GF&A had now gotten an issue in its hands, the recently built Florida Atlantic Industrial Complex had a handful of tight and small switching maneuvers and very small sidings. Standard rolling stock could go through the complex but the sidings were too short for locomotives, as they could only hold 3 1/2 cars. The GF&A came up with a solution, use an old short hooded cab and an old 2-axle truck smash them together, and call it an “Atom,” this idea worked and is still in use today.
