Instructions

I honestly thought this was some sort of United-Nok Air airline with this 767 I flew on a 737-924ER with this color scheme on my trip back from Cancun United Airlines has a bad habit of only partially painting their planes into the new color scheme and some are partially painted into an even older color scheme (Such as the Rising Blue livery of 2008 with the rest of the airframe in the 2012 Globe livery) American Airlines has a similar problem with painting the fuselage in the new color scheme but leaving the winglets in the old metal paint scheme with the AA website URL still on it, a good example being N382AN (now retired) YouTube link to the video is here: http://youtu.be/ViRXk11AWqc Can someone please tell me why some airlines do this?

Description

I think United did this to conserve paint Boeing 737s and 767s have the nose cone in the Globe livery with the rest of the airplane in the new 2019 livery Boeing 777s have the engine cowlings or nose cone partially painted into the 2008 Rising Blue livery with the rest of the plane in the 2012 Globe livery
