I might post smaller projects more instead of always making huge art dumps ye. end of edit// Hi there, it’s been a little while since I shared art here, so today I decided that I would post one of my drawings from April for my friend @dodovo. School has been stressing me out, I’m in a constant cycle of procrastinating over assignments and studying, talking to my friends over social media all day, getting depressed for not getting anything done and rushing through due and even overdue work. I feel like I barely have time to draw without feeling guilty for using the time I should’ve spent on school. I don’t post a lot of projects like this anymore, it’s either an art dump of many drawings, or one special drawing with lots and lots of details. I felt like simple shoulders up drawings aren’t good enough to have it’s own project anymore and that all of my projects has to either have extreme quality, or quantity. I was started to fall into the trap that I believe Dream had fallen into in 2021 of being scared to post more lighthearted or simple content, and having to always impress their audience by making the content better and more intense every time, which resulted in them not really uploading much at all. I don’t want to feel like I can’t post things just because they’re not as packed as my other projects, Over the past half a year, this issue had been constantly makes me feel like that what I make is not good enough for myself. I want to be able to post what ever I want on my own account, and not feel that I have the responsibility to please my viewers as much as possible. So from now on I think I will try to let myself post when I feel like it, post what I feel like posting instead of turning my account into some sort of business. Idk, what do you think?
