The Combat Pistol P11 "Tiger" was created by United Defense in 1997 as a competitor to Cascade Technologies' SM32, a popular derivative of the S97. The SM32 is an old classic, which is still used, even in the current year of 2035, an open bolt, capable of auto-chambering rounds and automatically clearing jams using it's onboard shock resistant microprocessor and pneumatic piston. Meanwhile, United Defense designed the Tiger with a P90 top magazine loading system, closed bolt and ammunition counter. The P11 was released onto the market, but failed horribly. Users were complaining of the 7 round magazine, rightfully bemoaning that the magazine should have been able to fit more, something that FN Hershal was able to do with the P90. The LCD display cracked easily, and the microprocessor onboard tended to malfunction, and occasionally fall loose from it's solder, which could easily break the pistol. The Tiger was manufactured until 2000, and through it's production years, it was a niche weapon, and enthusiasts picking up the weapon were ridiculed, even though the concept had promise. Although third party modifications allowed it to carry 12 rounds, Seigel dropped it like a hot potato, focusing on the remarkably versatile UP9.
I have an entire selection of lore just for the weapons of ERS honestly, so made some for this, based off of Entry Point Hold click to fire The P11 has a damaged microprocessor, it constantly displays 7 rounds, when it isn't.
