Entry Link: May 7th 1989: I opened up the game today. The save data looked off. They weren't mine. They're talking about it being my turn and that someone called ben drowned. I brushed it off, thinking that someone was trying to prank me. But the more I was playing the game, the more unsettling it became. My character started catching on fire in every boss fight, the Link statue kept following me, and the strangest of all...black liquid was leaking out of the game cartridge. I'm going to take this back to the game store and refund it. I don't feel safe after experiencing all of that. May 12th 1989: My dog is acting really weird lately. I caught him lapping up some of the liquid and cleaned it up and threw it away. He becomes aggressive, restless at night, and pays absolutely no attention to me. I'm getting worried about him. May 15th 1989: I woke up this morning. I'm feeling a bit weird, as if there's something in my stomach. I keep hearing this distorted sound in my ears. Also, my mouth is...forced to smile. May 16th 1989: My friends are saying that I look way happier than I already am. I am not. Deep inside, I am suffering. May 25th 1989: My dog has suddenly disappeared. I don't understand. Was he in the house too long? Did he have to go outside for a bit? What is going on? June 5th 1989: I feel alive. I am free. He has showed me how I can be happy for myself and others. He has showed me how to make others...happy.
