TW: some panels contain disturbing and suggestive scenes/themes, plus minor blood so like a few nights ago I had this weird dream where like a bunch of random characters from different media (mostly stuff I’m interested/knowledgeable in and/or have been in the past) were transported to some ship and have to collect dimension-transporting crystals to get back to their universes, mostly consisting of video games though there were probably some cartoons as well. I believe it would consistently switch between two ships, one contained a majority of the protagonists but slightly “unhinged” while the other contained the “side characters” but relatively more mature and honestly more relevant to the “plot.” anyway I don’t really remember as much since having that dream but I could make out a few things. Like, mostly Smash/Nintendo characters. Of course Triple Threat had to be involved cuz why not, and also Raine from TOH is there for some reason! The rest were vague shapes and/or faces but later on there’s like this weirdly edgy section where the other crew meets some imprisoned criminal cat who was involved in some sort of divorce between a very really bad father and also probably bad mother who’s covered in scars for some reason. She’s either the traumatized daughter who witnessed her dad “oof” some random store receptionist or the scarred mom who ran into the woods and probably got captured, but idk anymore. Unfortunately I believe at some point I woke up at some cliffhanger if not after the scene where the main ship is jealous of the other ship’s escapades. not only that, but I also woke up way earlier than I was supposed to and took me a while to get back to sleep. As disappointed as I am unable to return to that dream to clarify what I just saw, it made me able to process my thoughts and realize how much potential those concepts were. Sure my family went to see Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 earlier that day so that may be the cause of it, but it still felt a bit too "intricate" and intriguing to just be left as some weird dream I had imo. I had a few ideas for what to do with this idea, like another webcomic, maybe a fanfic, perhaps even making an amv based off of the concept (one with the Chainsaw Man opening was originally going to be the project where I discussed this dream, actually). most of them are up in the air tho since I'm VERY unfaithful with big projects like those (even tho I think I'm starting to lose motivation in even smaller projects like this one-) so for now, just enjoy these based solely off of memory :)
