I was considering this being a side comic and I'd like to hear your thoughts. I also have other story ideas if you're interested in hearing those, I've been interested in having a side comic for a while. Okay so! In this world there's this kind of magic called adaptations. Adaptations help it's host survive and thrive, and usually reflect their personality in some way. They're something that everyone is born with, and it's not like learned and wielded or anything, it's just kinda there. Adaptations are discovered, and some may go a long time before finally discovering how their soul(??) has adapted to aid them in their life. That's just the gist of the world, but the story itself is mostly focused on the characters and the magic isn't a super central part, but it's definitely very relevant at the same time? Idk if any of this makes sense or is appealing at all, I'd love to hear what you all think. I'll say what I can without spoiling too much. The three main characters all leave their homes, each in search of something different. One has the adaptation of fog, the other has the adaptation of roaming, and the last one has yet to discover their adaptation. This story will largely be focused on discovery. Not just discovery of the things they search for, but also discovering themselves, and whether or not their losses truly mean they've lost at life. "Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." I was thinking of calling the comic The Courage to Continue. Thoughts??
