Just tap to go to the next one. Feel free to add on to the questions! I couldn't think of very many at the moment. Please remix!!
My dad told me he thinks our generation is going to be the one to change how schools work. I think there are a lot of problems with the system, and though I myself have only gone to "enrichment classes," plenty of my friends have voiced their complaints. I'm considering writing a book on this subject, or at least collecting information for future reference. So please help me to figure out exactly what's wrong and how to fix it! Here are some of my ideas for improvement: *A career-oriented curriculum that helps students determine their natural skills and how they can use them for what they want to do in the future. *P.E. should teach self-defense. It's necessary and interesting. *Life skills classes. We should be taught stuff like taxes and cooking and, like, time management. How to create a resume and get a first job. So we know what to DO when we grow up! *Students should be allowed to learn at their own paces. Tests should focus on figuring out what you're good at naturally, what you need help with, and how to help you. Not "grades." Sign language should be mandatory. Think of all the uses it could have! Deaf people would be able to communicate with everyone! We could talk from long distances instead of yelling. We could talk while underwater or while our mouths are full of food lol Okay, so, I've never gone to a public school or private school full time, so I'm not exactly super knowledgeable about everything. Please let me know if any of my ideas for improvement are already common. Thanks!
