Welcome to the casting call for voice actors for my new animated(sort of) series! This is an AU(alternate universe) of my comic, NaD(Nightmare At Daybreak). This story and characters will make more sense if you've read it first! This project will show you the different characters showing up in Episode 1 of Decode: Memory(series name)! It contains some notes on what I'm looking for in terms of voice actors and audition lines. The first audition line is a normal line, the second an emotional line, and the third is a noise/sound effect line. Voice actors don't only do dialogue-- Characters in shows also sometimes make noises with no dialogue/words, such as grumbling, groaning, sighing, breathing, panting, screaming, laughing, crying, gasping, etc. Be prepared to do those as well! These are not all of the characters, these are just the ones that are going to show up in episode 1! For example, Peaches is a major character, but she has no lines or even sound effects in episode 1, so she's not here yet. I may also need a couple people as background/crowd characters-- people that randomly call out in a crowd/voices in crowd or a nameless character with just noise dialogue that's running away from someone for example. When I need more voice actors for new characters, I'll make another project. So even if you don't get the part, don't worry! There will be more characters. I'll take basically anyone as a crowd/sound effect character, though there are none for Episode 1. I may also ask you to be a backup for a certain character if the original voice actor can't do their lines. It's good to try to do a couple versions of your lines-- this way someone can pick and choose the line that's closest to what they were thinking of! After all, there can be many interpretations on just one line. Also, the audition/example lines aren't real lines; they're just random made up lines You can audition for multiple characters! :'D Remember that you'll have to voice for future episodes, and the episodes will take time to create. Be prepared if I suddenly show up with more lines for you to do months later! I hope you guys have fun! I'm excited to do this- I already have 72 frames and a little more than 2 minutes done on Episode 1 so far! Decode: Memory will be in sketch form, as this makes for faster drawing.
