Peta stared at the ceiling of the room he was in, blinking slowly. It felt like he was awake, perhaps never asleep, he couldn't tell. He scrunched his face up, trying to recall past events, but his memory left him with nothing but a vague wonder. He looked around, not moving his head but merely shifting his gaze around the room. It felt unfamiliar, but it was his bed he was resting on, how odd. He looked down at himself, brow furrowing with deeper confusion as he stared blankly at the shackles that enclosed his paws. Peta tried to sit up, gasping with unpleasant surprise when sharp needle-like spins shot upwards out of the bed, perhaps as if they we there the whole time. Peta growled, or at the very least he tried to, however his voice could not come to him. In fact, he couldn't even hear his own rasping breath in the tiny, enclosed room. The deafening silence seemed to bounce off the claustrophobic room like thunder in his ears, smothering out anything that tried to sound. So silent that he almost wished for the flashing lights, clicking of cameras, and loud questions asked whenever he was at any event, trying to speak over one another. So silent that he could almost hear a vaguely familiar voice, seemingly calling out his name. "Pete...Pete.." Peta shot upwards, glancing wildly around his bedroom with a concerned Sharp over him. "Pete, you alright?" Peta nodded, saying nothing. "Yeah...it was just a bad dream."
