LuTV is a RupertNet Sister channel for Girls ages 4 - 12. It started as a 2-Hour Test programing block for Rupert2 in Mid-July 1994 and Quickly grew Success in it's 4 Years on the channel. In March 1999, Rayleigh, RupertNet's parent Company, announced that LuTV would be moved to AwsomeGirls, The Sister channel to AwsomeToons that was Opened the month prior. In June 2008, Rayleigh acquired TeleTeens, The Teen Sister channel to RupertNet's Commpeditor, TeleFonica and it was Rebranded to Rupert Girls' a little less then a Year later on May 16, 2009, Which LuTV was Moved to 2 weeks later. In Early February 2011, It was announced that LuTV would become a 14-Hour Channel, Which Replacing Rupert Girls' on March 9th of that year. On that same day, RupertNight, RupertNet's 10-Hour Adult nighttime block was moved to LuTV. On April 14, 2013, Rayleigh decided to close AwsomeGirls down, with a few of the Shows on the channel being moved to LuTV the Month later. In June 2015, RupertNight was Temporary replaced with Summer Night Toons for Summer 2015. In September 2018, around the time the Zoog Rupert block was Created on TeenRupert, LuTV started airing Live Action shows Previously airing on Rupert Girls' and AwsomeGirls.
