Morphs are varied in size and look like somewhat formless blobs in their base form, resembling the default purple colour. They're omnivorous, eating anything that they think could sustain them. A morph can take whatever form they please, but with a size 'cap' depending on their mass. The more solitary Morphs only change to their specific needs, like making a rudimentary mouth or arm for themselves. However, those who have encountered another living being tend to attempt to copy the likeness of said being. This does not exclude anything. They'll impersonate other creatures or even an exe, if they come across one. The accuracy of these impersonations are varied, and depend on how long the morph has had to 'study' the whatever-it-is. The omnipresent drawback is that they rarely see the inside anatomy, therefore making for no vocal chords, and therefore no talking, making for a dead giveaway. They'll attack whenever their chosen victim comes too close, ditching their impersonation to wrap themselves around the unfortunate prey. To avoid one, you'd maintain a safe distance and try to start a conversation with it. Insults are effective, as they don't register those and their blank reaction may give them away. They're not all that smart, so they're also susceptible to tricks. They don't make very good pets, as they'll obviously try to eat you and break out of whatever's holding them.
heck yeah worldbuilding!! !! (also space)
