Okay, they’re gone, let’s get started. Ep. 1 Kate Peerson is a natural born leader whose dream is to be class president. She knows that it’s her year, plus she’s up against a jock (John), so how hard could it be? At recess Natty, Kate’s best friend, tells her that John won the vote. She is furious and can’t help but gossip about it. It’s slightly interrupted by the grade’s mysterious girl, Joeline. In gym, John makes things awkward by wanting to Kate. He says that Kate should have won the vote. Then in the hallway, John is saying that Kate hates him, while Jack thinks she doesn’t. We end the episode with learning that John likes Kate. Ep. 2 Mrs. Cassette is in the teacher’s lounge, when Ms. Arlet walks in. Apparently, Mrs. Cassette has been seeing what has been going on and she wants to try to stop the situation. We see the Kate, Natty, and the girl group back at it again, gossiping. We learn that Natty and the girl group are starting to get over the whole thing while Kate is not. The whole class is in guidance with Mrs. Cassette. She mentions what is disturbingly familiar - gossiping at recess. The girl group is still very annoyed and looks at Kate. Uh-oh. Kate’s in trouble. Mrs. Cassette has called her down to the office. They are just getting started when Ms. Arlet unknowingly walks in. When this happens, Kate storms out in anger and embarrassment. Mrs. Cassette asks Ms. Arlet to meet with her soon. The girl group and Natty are confused as to why KAte hasn’t showed up yet. They look around as Kate is coming in. Kate’s first remark is that she “got called to the office for wanting to be on student council”. Natty and the girls are now VERY annoyed and they tell her it was because of gossiping. Natty doesn’t want to hang out with Kate anymore. Kate is so sad, she bursts into tears. Ep. 3 We start with Jack telling John again that Kate doesn’t hate him. They are at recess, so John walks away and notices that Kate is on her own, crying. He asks her what is wrong and Kate tells him about her gossiping. He is embarrassed and walks away. John is telling Natty that she NEEDS Kate, she finally agrees in hoping that Kate will apologize to John for the gossiping. John comes back, pushing Natty in slightly. Natty tells her that she needs to apologize to John, and that’s exactly what she does. Then Kate brings up the idea of her and John serving as co-presidents. John loves the idea. In our final scene, we see John and Kate be welcomed into being president together. John looks at Kate and blushes. Does he still like Kate? END OF SEASON ONE
