hello yes this is my Welcome Home OC Raymond, the musical mudpuppy! you should full screen it :eyes: i had a puppeteering phase a year or so ago and this is one of the characters i made -- i repurposed him into a welcome home oc! woohoo!! some raymond facts: - instead of felt like most puppets, raymond has shaved fur! - his hands are relatively inarticulate, but in musical action scenes, "raymond gloves" [aka gloves with the arms and hands of raymond] are often used by puppeteers to compensate! - during the runtime of Welcome Home, puppeteers had to often mutilate and revamp musical instruments to fit and accommodate for Raymond's weird proportions. - the cast and crew of Welcome Home shares that there were odd occurrences whenever Raymond's puppet was left out overnight instead of put back in the crate with the other puppets. The most commonly reported occurrence would be hearing faint music wherever they went, no matter what. some doing-things-commentary: - i tried to sort of capture the art style of welcome home with the mouth shape, soft shading, and white highlights, while also keeping my own style with the eyes and otherwise low quality. - the scroll bar was very hard to rig. - the wiggling Raymond font is century schoolbook -- I used wordart and then screenshotted it and uploaded it here! - i did not have space to give him a house i am so sorry. his house looks like a fishbowl though it's so cool
