This is a throwback to an old glitch I experienced during my days on the Scratch platform. This was around 2013 when the new 2.0 website layout rolled around, and when I get a notification, upon clearing them in another tab on my browser, this would show up saying I got a notification, but the number says 0 instead of how many notifications you actually had prior to opening the notification menu.
