This morning Derby contender Wild On Ice was vanned off after suffering an injury to his right hind leg. Unfortunately, he couldn't be saved and was sadly euthanized. Rest in Peace, Wild On Ice.
The racing world also mourns the loss of Australian jockey Dean Holland, who fell off of his mount on the opening race at Donald Racecourse on Monday, April 24th.
