"Draw an image? nah. make a whole animatic? yep" this was inspired by @Woofbee —————————————————————— this will never be canon, unless pikakit wants it, witch I highly doubt but that's perfectly fine with me. Anyways, on with the show!—————————————————————— Idea title: an abnormal injury. Character: Ivy (wow big shocker /j) ~STORY TIME~ - It's been... hard for Ivy ever sense that fateful encounter. it's been months and yet she's still having to visit the clinic quiet often to get this damned injury checked. it should have fully healed over long ago, the attack that had caused the injury wasn't even actually that bad of an attack, and it /should/ have healed fine.... if not for what happened afterward. Ivy could vividly remember being forcefully dragged by that damned Dark'mon by the name of.. Shade? she couldn't remember their name to well, but she could remember being dragged into what she would probably consider hell on earth. well, maybe not literally... anyways, the memory itself still makes her shudder with fear. Ivy honestly considers herself extremely lucky to be alive after being trapped in such a place. the dark realm, as it's often called, was a cold and dark place that reradiated extremely dark energy. there was basically no plant life except for a few dead trees that looked like they would have collapsed on her the second she walked past them or from even just the faintest breeze, the one lake she had seen there was a dark, murky, nearly pitch-black color that made it impossible to see anything under its cold surface. and almost everyone- no, scratch that, /Everyone/ was extremely hostile and strong, she even saw a few Dark'mon traveling around in groups, witch Ivy thought was impossible during that time. trying to hide in that place had been near impossible, she had stuck out like a sore thumb. and she could even remember her energy being drained to the point where she almost couldn't even run or do anything, it had made her feel like she was dying... Ivy didn't even know how she managed to get away from such a place, but she was beyond grateful she had. but she had not left the damned place unscathed. she hadn't really noticed it when she first came back. but the dark realm's atmosphere had definitely done some sort of damage to her. but not in the way one would ever expect.. it had started shortly after her return from the Dark'realm. she remembered that she had either encountered a Dark'mon that for some reason decided to start a fight with her, or she was simply minding her business in her berry garden when she had felt an oddly strange yet sharp pain in her shoulder. during the time it had caught her extremely by surprise, and she was sure she had stopped what she was doing in order to try and get the pain to stop. at first, she thought that maybe she had pulled a muscle, but then it had happened maybe a week or two later when she was just quietly reading a book to herself. by then she had started to realize that maybe there was something a little off. deciding to do something about it, she had took a trip down from her little home in the mountains to visit the clinic in Brightkeep, even if she hates visiting the town due to how crowded and noisy it is. but when she got there, the doctor couldn't find anything wrong with her. so with an uneasy feeling, she had gotten some pain killers and went back to her cottage in the mountains. the pain killers had helped her with the sudden stabbing pains whenever they occurred.. but things only got worse from there. during an encounter with a Dark'mon. her shoulder halfway through the battle began to tense up and caused an immense amount of pain to her, and without any sort of warning.. she wasn't able to move her arm at all, yet she could still feel the immense pain the injury had caused. by then she knew something was very wrong. 'Why would her arm go limp? Why was she having sharp stabbing pains? Why was this happening to her?' these questions had run wild in her mind. and yet everytime she went to go get the injury checked, no one could find the actual problem. but then one day with an encounter with a Pokemon by the name of Spring, she had finally gotten an awner.. at least somewhat anyways. after a particularly tough battle against some of the Dark'mon that just for some reason continue to hunt her down her, she and Spring had gone to a clinic in Brightkeep. it was not one Ivy had been familiar with, but at that point she had just been too tired to really care. the Healer of the place, witch was a hybird between a Hattrem and Mienfoo. had done a quick check up on both her and Spring, and things had started out like how they normally would have, until the healer had gotten to her scar. unlike the other Healers she had ever visited, this one was actually able to give her at least some information, or at least an idea of what happened. Description

(Cont.) Ivy could remember their words clearly in her head, as if she had heard them yesterday. **"That's quite the scar you've got there," they commented, a tinge of concern in their voice. "It's from an older injury, so it should be fully healed, but..." They visibly shivered. "Appearance-wise, there's nothing out of the ordinary that I can tell, and yet... I feel uneasy looking at it"** that comment of theirs had gotten Ivy's full attention, an actual idea of what may be wrong? she never thought she would have seen the day. Ivy had explained to her the strange anomalies that surrounded her scar, about the stabbing pain, and the arm going limp for an hour or two. and when the hybrid had asked her about how she had gotten the wound.. she explained she had gotten attacked by a Dark'mon and dragged into the Dark'realm. she remembered both the reactions of the healer and Spring. and that's when she finally had gotten an idea of what had happened.. the words that had been spoken to her were very clear in her mind. **"...My expertise is in the physical health of Pokémon, and to that effect, there isn't anything at present that I can personally detect is amiss apart from what you told me. However... I can't deny the possibility that the circumstances involving this injury could be more serious than they seem-- Again, we don't know much about the world of dark Pokémon, but sense it's a place harmful to us, I can imagine that visiting it with an open wound like this would only be an invitation for problems. You should definitely keep an eye on that shoulder and go see a professional immediately if it continues to act strangely or you notice an inexplicable change in your health or state of mind. I'm concerned the atmosphere of the dark realm could have tainted the site of the injury somehow."** the full realization had hit her like a ton of bricks. she had finally gotten her answer.. and it was not a good one at all. Sense that day Ivy has been... trying her best to just live with it. and for a while it was peaceful for the majority of it. but as of recent she's been noticing more strange things happening to her. she's been getting more tired as of recently, even when she's just sitting around doing nothing. and she's slowly been becoming more irritable, at one point even almost snapping at her brother when he was bugging her about something. Ivy didn't know why it had happened, the thing he had been bugging her about wasn't even that bad. these things have been worrying her greatly.. but the thing that worried her most was this.. strange voice in her head.. at first it was faint and really easy to ignore, not to mention it rarely ever happened at all.. but as of recent it's been getting louder and much more frequent. it's been becoming harder and harder for her to ignore it. it keeps telling her dark things, its like it's trying to break her sanity. but it all finally came to an alarming peak tonight... *Ivy couldn't sleep even despite how tired she was, her mind was blank, but at the same time it was running rampant with thoughts that she couldn't understand. with a slight grumble, she got up and headed over to the restroom, maybe splashing a bit of water onto her face will help her. her movements were sluggish, but then again it was midnight, and she was rather tired. she turned on the facet and splashed some water onto her face, the cool water helping her more tired. Ivy's gaze turned to the mirror as she shook off a few remaining droplets, and that's when she saw it. Ivy froze.. something was standing behind her, its near pitch black color blending in with the darkness of the room, but it was defiantly there. spinning around to face whatever it was, she was caught off guard to see what looked like a shadow version of her.. the only color she could visibly see on it was the scar on it's shoulder. the thing smiled at her as it took a small step closer. "w-who are you?" *Ivy asked, her nervousness was very clear, not to mention the flowers on her head gave off their sweet scent that indicated she was uneasy.* "who am i?" *the thing echoed, it's voice sounding exactly like hers. that was not really much of a reply. "Go crazy" the thing said in a cheery tone as it began to walk towards her. Ivy's fear began to increase as the thing continued to approach her. she tried to back away, but the thing quickly caught ahold of her hands.. this caused her fear to skyrocket even further.. why was it able to actually touch her?! surely, she's dreaming right?! this had to be a dream, no way this is real... it can't be... what's even more strange is that its tail phased through the sink counter, showing that it wasn't real.. so why could it touch her and nothing else? the thing kept telling her to go crazy over and over, an unsettling smile forming on its face the more it spoke. this thing absolutely terrified her, Ivy was visibly trembling as well. she had only felt fear like this twice before in her life.
