Description

I am someone who almost never solves Megaminx, mainly due to the tedious and confusing scrambling method. As such, I figured I would make a scrambling tool using a slightly modified form of a notation that all cubers should be more familiar with: NxN notation. Specifically, the modifications are: - The addition of BL and BR turns, which are much like B turns on an NxN puzzle. BL refers to the back layer which is closest to the L layer, and BR refers to the one closest to the R layer. This notation was inspired by the CubeSkills Megaminx guides. - The addition of the "flip" move, which is a 180 degree rotation of the entire puzzle that is identical to an x2 move on an NxN puzzle. - The possibility of prime double moves, which are useless for scrambling on NxN puzzles but necessary for Megaminx. If you couldn't tell, my goal for this tool is to make the Megaminx more accessible and familiar to new cubers wishing to get into it, but only have experience with NxN puzzles. The scramble itself may seem excessively long, but hey, I still find it better than R and D over and over again. Plus, unless you're really experienced with Megaminx, I doubt you'll see any major difference. By the way, if any of the lines of the scramble are too long for the list to display, just generate a new one. I currently have no workaround for this and, admittedly, I'm too lazy to implement one.
