HELP I’M SO BAD AT CODING- (and shhhhhhh don’t talk abt those backgrounds they’re so unoriginal hhh) Anyways, H e l l o You might want to spam the flag a bit to get the right timing How long has it been since I last posted an animation meme?? Or just a quality project in general??? Idk. A loonnng time, right? My art has improved ENORMOUSLY since then, so uh Yeah (It’s rlly short tho aaaaa) I tried using the same brush for all the art, and I think it turned out pretty well! Also, I thank @_tangyfruit for hosting this dta! U posted it when it was night time for me, and I remember the second I laid my eyes on Red Dragon, I knew I was going to dedicate a whole lot of my time entering! (Psst, go check them out, their art is so pretty :0) Heh. Do you now understand why I say my art style can adapt? A lot too? I’m guessing u want to read the backstory now, haha… WELL NOPE! A bit more scrolling will suffice though.. Name - doesn’t have one but is nicknamed Red Pronouns - he/him Age - 15-18 yrs old or smth Personality - outgoing, courageous and daring. Don’t forget self-centered, rude-ish and prideful !! >:) idk how but he’s kinda introverted with friends but extroverted when given a challenge. A bit a backstory - as a young child, both his parents died by mysterious unknown purposes. Red was left without a house, food or money at a very young age, leaving him to be living in a dark alleyway. He survived by stealing. Bored for many years, he finally found joy in life : stealing. Getting attention. He loved it, and soon started doing more extravagant things, like jumping off buildings and bringing out his rarely-seen wings at the very last moment. Actual story - Red was a horrid person. Stealing, vandalizing and escaping arrest are only some of various acts of crime. He’d found what excited him in life, even though those things weren’t acknowledged in a positive way. He always said that his childhood was rough, but that wasn’t a valid excuse. He was wanted by the police, and only the yin was shown by his personality. One day during his daily teasing-the-cops time, Red passed by a gap between two buildings and saw a young girl sitting in the trash. Knowing he was being chased at the moment, he had to go back to the alley later in the day. When he found her the second time, the youngster was curled up in a ball, back to the wall (hey that rhymes! :0). He couldn’t hear it, but he was sure that she was crying. Her clothes were filthy and torn in some places, without forgetting the fact that an old paper bag covered her head this time. The child made Red remember his own childhood, and felt a feeling he hadn’t felt in a long time : empathy. Seeing the young girl in that state brought back the worst times he tried to forget back in his mind. He could see her doing the various things he’d done all those years back. Red finally lifted a hand to the girl. Slowly but surely, he’d made up his mind. He’d finally let out the Yang. “Hi there,” he said “come with me” For the next few weeks of his life, Red showed the youngster (which he eventually named Myra) around the city, bringing her along to sightsee all the different parts of it. He brought her everywhere, until he one day brought her back to where he stayed: the roof of an old appartement, ornamented with sheets and colours and little knick-knacks. The bed in which he gave her was unusually neater than normal, and the place wasn’t the normal wreckage it was just a week or two ago. Red had definitely cleaned the place up a bit. He grew close to her, and her, close to him. Neither of the two were ever left alone. Red never wanted to admit it, but he considered young Myra as a younger sister, and would do anything in the world to keep her safe by his side. She brought out the best of him, meaning he hadn’t done any crime acts in quite a while. However, the reality-made fantasy could last forever. The fact that Myra was there didn’t change the fact that Red was wanted. To the police, he was still that troublesome little brat causing trouble all over the city. Soon enough, the police found out about Red’s little abandoned apartment because he’d no longer been as careful with secrecy as he’d used to. They corned the two one afternoon, ripping Myra out of Red’s arms soon after. Red was put in handcuffs for the first time, while he heard the officers around cheer for finally succeeding in catching him. (The rest of the story is inside the project)
